In this step-by-step guide, we've introduced the magical world of creating a fairy rock house. With a few basic materials and a sprinkle of creativity, your girls can craft a whimsical abode that will enchant all who encounter it.
First I thought I share with you all what a fairy house is and what makes it such a cool craft to do with your troop.
What is a fairy house? A fairy house is a small, whimsical structure often created in gardens or natural settings, designed to attract and accommodate fairies. It is typically adorned with natural materials, such as twigs, leaves, and flowers, and may be constructed from items like rocks, shells, or wood. These charming dwellings are believed to provide a welcoming haven for fairies and are often made as a creative and imaginative project for both children and adults.

This activity program was designed to fulfill the requirements for all 10 Daisy Petals and Promise Center or can be used by frontier girl leaders to earn similar badges.
The petal fairy program will take your girls on a garden adventure with their new petal fairy friends who need your girls help to plant their flowers, water their gardens, and in return the petal fairies will help your girls learn how to live by the 10 fairy laws one activity at a time.
Step #1
First make sure to clean the rock before you start with the painting. Cover the rock with the chosen color of paint using a brush, in my case yellow. Leave it to dry completely before you continue decorating.
Step #2
Draw the door using a black marker. Make it look more rustic by adding some lines across to look like it was made out of wood.
Step #3
Draw some grass on the bottom with the green marker.
Step #4
Draw some flower branches on the sides.
Step #5
Glue the artificial greens on top and the flower over the greens to make it look like a roof. Just be creative and feel free during the decoration process.
Note: If the rock stays outside on a place when it gets rain or water you may want to use permanent glue and waterproof colors.
