Senior Troupe Performer Badge

Your Senior Girl Scouts are either in one of three categories

  1. They are eager to get on stage and put on the best performance of their life. And want to earn the badge to make themselves better!
  2. They are afraid of being on stage and want to earn the badge to help them get over that fear.
  3. They have no desire to ever earn this badge – if that is the case check out one of the other Senior Badge Ideas available on Girl Scout Leader Connect….

If your girls fall into one of the first two categories then I would continue on in this post where I will share a few ideas to help you and your girls enjoy earning the Senior Girl Scout Troupe Performer badge.

If your like many leaders who just do not have the time to plan for a badge, you can save yourself a lot of time and just get a copy of the complete badge booklet that will take your girls through each step of the badge as they learn more about being a movie critic, create their own puppet show and stage, plan the skit to be used for performance, create advertising and promotional pieces to invite others to show, additional games and activities just for fun to help girls with confidence to be on stage. The girls will learn about stage directions, reherse their performance and of course have opening night/day with a cast party after.
If all that sounds good to you then: Take the Guess work out of the planning and get your Complete Senior Troupe Performer Badge Booklet Now

Put on Your Very Own Puppet Show

One way to get the girls into performing in front of people is to have the girls make their own puppets and put on a puppet show.

Not sure where to start planning a puppet show? Don’t worry you can get everything you need to put on your very own puppet show in the Complete Senior Girl Scout Troupe Performer badge booklet: Click here to get yours.

The girls have the option to get really crafty and create their own stage for their puppet show, or if you want Amazon has a variety of different puppet stages that are not to expensive and you can reuse over and over. Check out this one its one of my favorites: Deluxe Puppet Theater Fold-Able And Easy to Store

I decided after 25 years I have so much to share with other leaders I choose to continue building this blog and its a way for me to stay connected to scouts. If you need a specific idea feel free to email me or leave a comment I bet in 25 years I did something that I can share.
